From winning a national championship in lacrosse to launching a nonprofit that gives kids access to the game, Max Schutt is proof that leadership starts with passion and purpose.

As a Mercer University senior, Max co-founded Play It Back Lacrosse, which provides gear, mentorship, and now even a local league in Macon, keeping costs low while using profits to support global outreach.

“I grew up in a tough situation without many role models. Sports gave me confidence, leadership, and a community. I want to give kids here that same chance.”
