What is the mission of your business?
To create the world’s greatest health and wellness products and business opportunity that together would transform lives both physically and financially.

What lessons did you learn because of the COVID-19 pandemic?
Isolation has polarized peoples’ desire to gather. Introverts have become more isolated, utilizing third-party services such as meal, grocery and prescription delivery companies. Extroverts, however, are venturing away from home as much as possible, finding any reason to be out with family and friends celebrating life!

What is your advice for women wanting to start their own business in Macon?
Macon has an incredible support system for women wanting to start their own businesses. It’s called The Web. The Web provides a support system for local women (and men). We draw strength from each other and are inspired by each other’s accomplishments. The Web offers member support, a community of like-minded peers, input into educational programs, socializing, workspace away from home, convenient centralized location and a network of accountability partners.

How do you define success?
Learn. Do. Teach. Success to me is passing on my knowledge and skills and seeing the benefits come to fruition for someone else. Helping to improve health and wellness is my focus. Success is opening eyes to the misinformation surrounding nutrition and wellness in the world we live in today.

What are you most excited about right now in our community?
I am really looking forward to our Macon Cherry Blossom Festival. After two years of hibernation, spring cannot get here fast enough. The colorful blossoms and fragrances will be a welcomed delight. Our community comes alive in the spring.

Why is Central Georgia a good place to do business?
Right now, larger chain businesses are leaving our area. It is the perfect time to start, and shop with small businesses in Central Georgia.

You might be surprised that: We have just launched our award-winning hair revival product, which combats thinning hair. Hair Revival has been shown to limit the impact of the hormone DHT (male and female), giving us thicker, fuller hair. It helps boost the telogen stage of the hair growing cycle, which lengthens the hair follicle growth stage (limits thinning by 32 percent and increases novel hair growth by 37 percent over the course of two months.) Hair Revival helps maintain hair strength and combats environmental stressors with all-natural ingredients. Its clinically tested, produces remarkable results and is vegan.

What is the most gratifying part of your job?
The most gratifying part of my job is helping people feel better, eat better, move better and live better. Being able to educate the masses about ways to improve their intake of nutritional ingredients in the least number of calories is my greatest joy. The overall nutritional content of our crops has dropped drastically in the past 60 years. Proper nutrition helps the body perform optimally. Many of our current inflammatory illnesses could be averted with proper nutrition.

What has been the most challenging part of being a woman in business?
My most challenging part of being a woman in business is fear of failure. Keeping a positive attitude is key to moving forward. Daily devotions, motivational videos, podcasts, etc., interacting with like-minded women, sharing success stories and ideas are all vital to a healthy outlook, which in turn nurtures our desire to press on.

I admire women who: are fearless, consistent, organized, transparent, honest and kind.

What was the best business advice you ever received?
Never give up. If you don’t quit, you cannot fail. Surround yourself with those who have accomplished what you desire. It has been said we are the sum of the five people we spend the most time with, so, spend time with successful mentors. When you arrive at your destination, turn around and help another do the same.

I hope more women will: take their health more seriously. By redirecting current food budgets into more nutritious all-natural alternatives, lives could be changed, improved and even extended. Obesity and Inflammatory diseases are not death sentences, unless they are ignored.

How can women better support each other?
Women can better support each other by being honest; kind; blind to color, religion and nationality; by serving others first and lifting up each other every chance we get.

How can men better support women business owners?
Men can better support women business owners by choosing to shop with local, women-run small businesses. Most things they need can usually be found locally. Support and encourage us with patronage.

Looking back, I wish I had known: that the illnesses and diseases of today were preventable with proper nutrition and lifestyle. Health and wellness must be made a priority. Each person has a unique set of fingerprints and a unique set of nutritional needs. We must be mindful of what we feed our mind, body and soul.

In five years: I will have helped people save their own lives and the lives of others. The knowledge I have and the products I represent are market disruptors. Science, research and results are proof. We cannot believe everything we see and hear. The media is selective in the information it puts out. Marketing is selective in how it promotes products and services. Ask yourself, “What happened to the food pyramid we all learned in school?” It’s obsolete today. Proper nutrition can no longer be attained without supplemental vitamins, minerals and enzymes. My goal is to help educate people how to do it better.
