What is the mission of your business?
To help our patients return to their normal life using both current technology and time-tested techniques, while never compromising personalized care and outstanding service.

What lessons did you learn because of the COVID-19 pandemic?
Resiliency and adaptability are present in all people. Sometimes you must find a new path to a familiar destination.

What is your advice for women wanting to start their own business?
Go for it! There is an amazing group of people to support you here!

How do you define success?
At the end of the day, success is knowing that you are achieving to your fullest capability. That doesn’t always mean forward progress, but making strides toward your goals.

What are you most excited about right now in our community?
There are many very good things happening around Macon, and it is exciting to see new and different ideas being brought to the area!

Why is Central Georgia a good place to do business?
The people here are some of the best I have ever encountered. Most genuinely want to see you do well.

You might be surprised that: I am a certified athletic trainer and have had the honor of working with high school, collegiate and semi-professional athletes for the better part of the last 15 years.

What is the most gratifying part of your job?
I love to see our staff grow and develop into a team working toward the common goal of providing the best possible care to our patients.

What has been the most challenging part of being a woman in business?
Of course, challenges are present in every avenue, but most of us wouldn’t be here if we didn’t like to take on a new challenge occasionally.

I admire women who: support other women and build each other up.

What was the best business advice you ever received?
Be constantly adapting and evaluating; prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

I hope more women will: Speak up for themselves and each other. Take one step outside of your comfort zone and just see what could happen.

How can women better support each other?
Listen. If someone has been courageous enough to bring their thoughts, ideas or concerns to you, provide them with the support to hear what they have to say and address the issues together.

How can men better support women business leaders?
Personally, I have been truly blessed with the most amazing support system of family, current and former co-workers who have now become friends, and have come to learn that support from these people can mean anything from a text saying “you got this” or an ear to listen.

Looking back, I wish I had recognized: the significance that every person I have encountered would have on my life today. Special recognition to all the athletes who came to me for care of their injuries who taught me so much along the way!

In five years: I hope to look back on this time of my life with as much fondness as I do the past five years, and just maybe I will know what I want to be when I grow up.
