“Cities are highly dynamic entities. They are continuously changing, continuously evolving – in fact, cities are like an organism,” said Costas Spirou, provost of Georgia College and State University, at the recent dedication of a new mural across Poplar Street tunnel, The Spirit of Macon II by Abraham Abebe. These emerging leaders are helping to push the complex organism of Macon forward in new directions.
