In the words of acclaimed writer and activist James Baldwin, we must have the courage to take on the quest of daring and growth in the name of love. It may not always grant us happiness, but it will yield progress.
Whether you feel heart-ease or heartache lately, love is still the answer. You will see it in this edition.
Artists know best how to lead us in both times of joy and days of despair, daring us to blossom.
We commissioned three artists to create their expressions of love and in celebration of the 40th annual Cherry Blossom Festival, “The Pinkest Party on Earth.” These murals are our gift to you and to Macon. We are honored to share artists Arrin Freeman, Randy H and Erin Hawkins and their art with you. Read about them, and go see their work around town.
