What is the mission of your business?
The mission of my business is to create a luxurious, fun, family-friendly environment that will excite everyone’s taste buds.

What lessons did you learn because of the COVID-19 pandemic?
The COVID-19 pandemic taught me to believe in myself, believe in my brand and to give all of my energy to being successful. Unfortunately, I was furloughed for two years.

What is you advice for women wanting to start their own business in Macon?
The advice I would give to women wanting to start their own business is to get started now!

How do you define success?
To me, success is defined in several ways: Showing up for myself daily, overcoming my fears, setting concrete goals, setting boundaries, celebrating my victories, not giving room to fail and controlling my destiny.

What are you most excited about right now in our community?
I’m most excited about the progress of downtown Macon, the new businesses and the increase in the networking capabilities.

Why is Central Georgia a good place to do business?
Central Georgia is an amazing place to do business because it’s growing at a rapid pace. There is an abundance of room for other business minds to catch this exciting wave of growth and opportunities.

You might be surprised that: I am 2018 Atlanta’s Kettle One Moscow Mule Winner.

What is the most gratifying part of your job?
The most gratifying part of my job is creating a space for people to come let their hair down, relax, eat, drink and enjoy each other’s company. What’s a gathering without amazing food and drinks?

What has been the most challenging part of being a female business owner?
The most challenging part of being a female business owner in a male-dominated industry is obtaining respect even when it is earned.

I admire women who: support other women.

What was the best business advice you ever received?
To bet on myself.

I hope more women will: believe in themselves and overcome their fears.

How can women better support each other?
Women can better support each other by offering mentorship, extending opportunities and celebrating each other.

How can men better support female business leaders?
Men can support women in business by being transparent and ensuring women’s voices are heard.

Looking back, I wish: I had the courage to trust myself a long time ago. I’m grateful for the lessons learned and all encounters that have helped me to flourish.

In five years, I: see myself having successful restaurants, lounges and food trucks in Macon, Atlanta and parts of Florida.
